Dr. Qureshi has been living in Charlottesville, Virginia with her three children since 2004. Dr. Qureshi graduated from medical school in 1996 as valedictorian, also earning three gold medals and a number of other honors. She completed her pathology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit MI, her surgical pathology fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN, and her Cytopathology and Dermatopathology fellowships in the University of Virginia in 2006.

Dr. Qureshi specializes in skin, soft tissue, oral, nasal, eyelid, conjuctival, corneal and vulvar biopsies along with Pap smear, body fluids (urine, effusions ect) and fine needle aspiration cytologies. She has been a serving Dermatopathologist and Cytopathologist for various specialties including Dermatology, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, General, Oral and Plastic Surgery, Podiatry, ENT, Ophthalmology and OBGYN for over five years in busy private practice settings.

Dr. Qureshi’s unique skills in Dermatopathology and Cytopathology, along with a mix of a strong academic background and years of experience in private practice have helped her to diagnose complex, rare and diagnostically challenging cases.
